LAK KLUMPP

In production, the parquet passes through a 6-roll roller, where layers of UV-cured KLUMPP varnish from a German manufacturer are gradually applied. This varnish is characterized by high adhesion and is transparent, so it can also be used on exotic woods. All 6 layers are environmentally friendly, free of solvents and formaldehyde. Gradual application of layers increases the resistance of parquets to scratches and abrasions several times. A damp mop and wood floor detergent are sufficient for routine maintenance.

UNICLIC CONNECTION

The patented uniclic joint represents a revolutionary technology for joining wooden floors without the use of glue. The result is a mechanically ideal tight joint without unwanted gaps, which guarantees that the floor will look as good for a long time as on the day of laying. Last but not least, it simplifies and speeds up the actual installation of parquet.

WOCA Oil

The vegetable oil of the Danish company WOODCARE is made from coconut and soy extract. It is ecologically and hygienically harmless, also suitable for allergy sufferers. It emphasizes the natural structure of the wood and intensifies the color shades. Water is not recommended for routine maintenance, but a special cleaning oil in combination with water. Damage to a smaller extent of the oiled floor can be removed by fine sanding and local application of a layer of oil.

OSMO Coatings

With OSMO coatings, the wood surface retains its natural character and is nevertheless resistant to abrasion, repelling water and dirt. Wood must be able to "breathe" in order to maintain its elasticity and can have a positive effect on the climatic conditions in the room.

Cleaning and maintenance of wooden floors

General warning, maintenance instructions
Wood is a natural material with characteristic properties, lumps. The natural color of the wood and the overall liveliness "emphasize the beauty of the natural material. It is said that wood breathes and continuously absorbs and releases moisture in an effort to achieve a constant point or balance. Characteristic changes also include dimensional changes. Wood works depending on the surrounding humidity. These changes include the so-called troughs and small width deviations. These deviations are not a defect, but a characteristic feature of wood. In order to keep them as small as possible, it is necessary to regulate the air humidity.

Floor maintenance: As OSMO hard wax oils, which are used in the production of wooden floating floors, act as a sufficient protection for a wooden floor, you can clean this floor from common dirt by the usual methods such as vacuuming and wiping with a damp mop. Use water free of solvents and other chemicals for maintenance. We recommend BONA or ASKO cleaning agents, intended for wooden waxed floors.
WARNING: Newly laid floors with an oiled finish should only be cleaned dry by vacuuming in the first two weeks.
ENVIRONMENT: Relative humidity: In the room where the floor is laid, resp. a wooden floating floor is laid, the manufacturer recommends keeping the air humidity in the range of 50-60%. If necessary, the space must be provided with ventilation, heating or humidifying equipment.

Air temperature: The optimal temperature in the living rooms is 21 degrees. Short-term temperature fluctuations of 18-25 degrees are permissible. Prolonged exposure to drier or wetter air causes deformation of the floorboards. Suitable climatic conditions not only have a positive effect on your floor, but also benefit all wooden furniture and, last but not least, your health.

Renovation of the entire floor is carried out depending on its wear. For occasional renovation, treat the cleaned surfaces with a thin layer of hard wax oil OSMO. Allow to dry thoroughly, then polish. You can also do this locally, in more stressed places. Stains can also be easily removed with OSMO care products. The floors do not need to be sanded.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS: The warranty period is 2 years. The manufacturer is not liable for the following defects during the warranty period:
- Discoloration caused by the use of the floor or oxidation of the material caused by sunlight- Mechanical damage caused by using the floor- Dimensional changes and deformations of the material caused by climatic conditions / non-compliance with the prescribed conditions during assembly, resp. humidity and temperature during the use of the floor - these are stated above in the general warnings - Improper maintenance of the floor / non-compliance with the recommended maintenance means / these are stated above in the general warnings /

RECOMMENDATION: Glue the legs of the furniture with felt pads and use a pad / e.g. blanket / Use rubber castors or pads under the wheelchairs to protect the floor from scratches. We wish you much satisfaction with the use of the wooden floating floor and we hope that this guide will help you

OIL AND WAX COATING SYSTEM

  • protects wood inside and out
  • does not make a layer
  • creates a protective layer with pores open
  • the oil penetrates into the wood and the wax forms a protective wax surface
  • Refreshing the wood
  • the surface can be easily or partially renovated
  • does not crack or peel
  • good water resistance

WOOD MAINTENANCE IN 3 STEPS:

1. Regular wet cleaning

2. Occasional intensive surface cleaning and revitalization

3. Maintenance to restore wood protection

Particularly effective for removing milk, cola, beer, wine, coffee and common household soiling. Removal of grease, shoe polish, footprints and other stubborn stains. The properties of wood will be preserved even after decades.

Parquet installation instructions

Read the instructions carefully before laying the parquet

Large-area parquets 15 mm thick are laid floating. The substrate must be clean, dry, level, crack-free, pressure-resistant. Concrete screeds, chipboards, plastic floors or old board floors are suitable substrates. Of course, finished parquets must not be used as self-supporting beam floors. Prior to laying, it must be ensured that the substrate is sufficiently dry. Floors in non-basement areas or floors above hot or humid areas, such as saunas and bathrooms, basically require insulation with 0.2 mm PE foil. The foil overlaps approx. 20 cm, the overlapping areas are glued. A mat under the parquet, 2 mm thick, is placed between the parquet and the base to compensate for the unevenness of the step noise attenuation. The floor is checked for flatness with a flat board or parquet. The permitted unevenness of the substrate may not exceed ± 2 mm per 2 m according to ČSN 730225. Concrete screeds are leveled with suitable leveling compounds, chipboards or old wooden floors are sanded if necessary. Parquets are already delivered with a surface finish. Check the parquet board before laying. The wrong board can be used last, or a good part can be used by cutting. Of course, it is possible to replace the entire board at the dealer. Cutting waste is approx. 1-3%. Contact your dealer or manufacturer for more information. The relative humidity during and after laying should be 50-60%. The temperature must be between 18 - 24 ° C.
The wooden floor is very sensitive to moisture. There must be a gap of approx. 10 mm between the parquet and the wall, as well as all building parts, which will be covered by the edge strip. This gap is not enough for particularly large spaces. In this case, the required gap is calculated from the maximum width of the space multiplied by 1.5mm (eg width 8m: 8x1.5mm = 12mm).

Work procedure

Use a sufficient number of wooden wedges to ensure a gap between the floor and the wall. It is recommended to lay parquet in the direction of light impact. The first board is placed with a pen against the wall. Make sure the row is straight. If the wall at which the installation begins is not straight, adjust the boards to the shape of the wall. Make sure to keep the dilatation from the wall 8-10mm. Fix the board with the pins on the walls as in. Connect the second board of the first row with the tongue and groove on the shorter side of the first board. The boards are joined without a gap by slowly clicking the lock into the groove on the shorter side of the first board. Continue like this in the first place. Cut the last board in a row with respect to the gap between the wall and the floor. The last board should be at least 50 cm long. The last board is installed under pressure using a prism. The next row starts with a cut board from the previous row (min. Length 50cm). Place the board next to the first row (starting on the left side) - the pen is in the groove of the first row and using the angle method (approximately at an angle of 30 °) click together until the lock "does not fit" into the groove. If there are small gaps between the boards, use a prism to charge the lock into the groove. Place the next board in the first row, the shorter edges are about 5 mm, which means that the lock tongue is not clicked in the groove. Click the board along the longer edge. Use the charging prism to connect the shorter side, but not forcibly. Make sure the connections are properly aligned. Follow these steps to continue installing the series. Keep in mind that the last board in the row should be at least 50 cm long. If the floor is installed as glued for underfloor heating, it is recommended to use elastic glue SIKA, BONA, Use parquet glue with a tube applicator. Remove the adhesive immediately from the parquet with a damp and clean cloth. Hang the door so that the parquet under it cannot be laid. For round cut-outs, the marked place must be drilled. The drill should be 20mm larger than the tube diameter. Glue the cut piece with glue, put it in place and wedge it. At the end: Measure the exact width of the last board in the row, we will find out by placing the board on the penultimate floor. Then use the second pen plate against the wall and its straight edge to mark the cut. Remember to take into account the gap between the wall and the floor. The last boards are knocked down with a special iron lever, use the blocks to keep the gaps. After laying, remove the blocks, cover the gaps between the floor and the wall with a perimeter strip in the color of the floor.

Instructions for the treatment of lacquered floors

Now you have a floor made of large lacquered finished parquets in your house. In order to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the surface, we recommend that you pay attention to:A vacuum cleaner is enough for daily care. Remove the dirt with a damp cloth. Stains are removed when fresh. The floor must not be waxed. Use a doormat before entering the house to prevent the application of large dirt. The furniture must be covered with felt pads. Avoid walking on parquet with metal heels.

Instructions for the treatment of oil floors

Now you have a floor made of large oiled finished parquets in your house. In order to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of the surface, we recommend that you pay attention to it: We recommend washing the floor for the first time after 7 days at the earliest. Before entering the house, use a doormat to prevent the application of large dirt and water. The furniture must be taped with felt pads as protection against scratches. Avoid walking on parquet with metal heels. For daily care, a vacuum cleaner is enough. We remove the dirt with a damp cloth. Only use parquet soaps for oiled floors (BONA, OSMO) for wet cleaning. Special soap protects and cleans your floor. Pay attention to the correct dosage. Wipe lightly with a damp mop, carefully removing non-removable stains with a sponge. Use a second bucket of clean water to clean the mop between wipes. Do not wipe the floor with clean water to remove wax oil. With each parquet soap treatment, the floor becomes more sensitive. In case of heavier soiling, use cleaning agents (BONA, OSMO) and agents to refresh the oil parquet surfaces. The relative humidity should be between 50-60%. If the humidity in the heated room drops in the winter, use a humidifier.
